This is true. Existing Users are now FREE Users (Ohh God, now we are categorized FREE Users). Some options are removed. Comm100 left existing users with some discount options

You already know that development of such software/service would cost you, then why do you involve in such developments? If your company hardly needs money, there are 176,578 companies using Comm100 as you advertise. Now you claim that the development of the software costs you millions of dollars. How much exactly spent?
If all our companies donate,
$10 each, it would be $1,765,780
$20 each, it would be $35,315,600
$50 each, it would be $88,289,000
So how much do you need? Same footsteps followed by many Paid Software now. So this is not going to be a great story. Comm100 is a master piece! New version is really great with Desktop & Mobile!
We would be glad to offer more and also support ads for comm100. At-least existing members are safe!

I get tired of open-source or free services going paid. They do this to lure in clients and then hang them out to dry. Companies need to think about their business plan and the future. This is just another example of a company that screwed customers who were loyal and counted on a free product, not good business planning on Comm100′s part. Stay free or go open source!
